How-To Guides

Short answers to common tasks in TuroReports.

How to sync your Turo account

Once you have access, sync your Turo account from the dashboard. TuroReports keeps your fleet data current from then on, so you never have to keep it up to date by hand. Your vehicles are discovered automatically and appear in your garage, ready to organize.

How to set up an owner or partner and their revenue split

  1. 1Open your garage and add the owner or partner you report to.
  2. 2Assign their vehicles to them.
  3. 3Set the revenue split so each side is paid correctly, for example 75% to the owner and 25% to you.
  4. 4Add an optional management fee, and choose which reimbursements to include.
  5. 5Splits only matter if you share revenue. If every car is your own, skip this and keep clean books for yourself.

How to add expenses (one-off, recurring, maintenance)

  1. 1Go to the expenses ledger and add a one-off cost such as a repair or cleaning.
  2. 2Set up recurring expenses, like insurance, so they appear automatically each period.
  3. 3Log maintenance in the maintenance tracker, and it flows into your reports as an expense.
  4. 4Assign each expense to the right vehicle so your per-vehicle numbers stay accurate.

How to generate a fleet report or an owner statement

  1. 1Choose the vehicles and the period you want to report on.
  2. 2Pick your report type: a fleet performance report for your own books, or a branded statement for an owner or partner.
  3. 3Add your logo and brand colors so statements look like they came from your own company.
  4. 4Generate a single report, or run a batch to produce every statement at once.
  5. 5Review, then send. Branded statements can go straight to the people you report to.

How to recover tolls automatically (Rental Hub)

Turn on Rental Hub and TuroReports recovers tolls for you. Toll invoicing runs itself: charges are found, itemized on your reports, and billed to guests, so you stop absorbing costs that belong to them. Your job is to review, not to reconcile.

How to ask the AI co-pilot to build a report or run a task

Your AI co-pilot knows your whole fleet, so you can ask for real numbers and get them back, like which vehicle earned the most or where expenses are creeping up. It also does the work: ask it to build a report, prepare a maintenance schedule, or run toll invoicing end to end. Chat is just one way to drive it, and it keeps watching for late returns and mileage overages so you do not have to.
